The Algiers Arbitration Day is a yearly event bringing together the world-leading international arbitration practitioners to explore the latest developments, the emerging trends and the most pressing issues affecting the Algerian, African and MENA arbitration landscape. It is also a unique networking opportunity to share thoughts and experience within the international arbitration industry. The Algiers Arbitration Day is a non-profit, apolitical association that connects the worldwide community of arbitration practitioners through an annual one-day conference held in Algiers.

#AAD2023 - The first international arbitration event in Algeria

Legal Doctrine & Institut de Droit des Affaires d’Alger are delighted to launch the first Algiers Arbitration Day edition in Algeria. The in-person event will be held in Algiers at Hyatt Regency Algiers Airport Hotel on 23rd October 2023. Simultaneous translation (French-English-Arabic) will be provided during the event.

The event will feature 4 panels discussing:
- The resolution of commercial and investment disputes through arbitration under the AfCFTA Agreement
- Arbitration in the MENA region: current trends and challenges
- Arbitration in the settlement of maritime disputes
- Arbitration and technology
